A friendly and welcoming specialist school is seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team in April 2025. Role Highlights:

  • Full-time, permanent position at a friendly specialist school
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to students with a variety of SEN
  • Work closely with a supportive team of professionals to create and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Use creative and effective teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Promote inclusion, confidence, and independence in the classroom
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support
  • Track and monitor student progress, ensuring targeted interventions are in place

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with SEN, ideally in a specialist setting
  • A strong understanding of SEND frameworks, IEPs, and inclusive teaching practices
  • Ability to differentiate lessons and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Enhanced DBS check required
