Are you a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher with a love of sharing your musical knowledge and skills? We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join our thriving Music department in a welcoming faith school in Southall. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in September 2025.

About the Music Department:
The Music department is a dynamic and collaborative team with a shared passion for inspiring students' musicality and creativity. We offer a rich and diverse curriculum that covers a wide range of musical styles and traditions, from classical to contemporary. We have excellent facilities, including a dedicated music suite with practice rooms, a recording studio, and a performance space.
About the Role:
- Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest.
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Lead and direct school ensembles (e.g., choir, orchestra, band).
- Organize and participate in school concerts and performances.
- Foster a love of music in students.
- Contribute to the department's curriculum development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Participate in professional development.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or equivalent.
- Excellent subject knowledge in Music.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring musicality.
- Strong instrumental and/or vocal skills.
- Experience leading ensembles.
- Ability to build rapport with students.
- Understanding of the National Curriculum for Music.
- Commitment to the school's faith ethos.
