We are excited to be working with a prestigious Independent girls’ school in Barnet to recruit a History Teacher. This part-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach History up to KS5, inspiring students through historical inquiry, research, and debate.

Responsibilities
• Teach History across KS3, KS4, and KS5, encouraging students to explore historical perspectives
• Support students in developing research and analytical skills through coursework and debate
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level History assessments, ensuring rigorous academic standards
• Work collaboratively to enhance the History curriculum with contemporary sources and case studies
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as History clubs and museum visits

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in History or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching History up to KS5
