EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant – Nurturing Primary School – Camden

A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Camden is seeking a compassionate EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant to support young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support children’s learning and development across a range of activities. You’ll help create a stimulating classroom environment, where children feel safe and motivated to explore and engage with their education.

Role Highlights:
• Full-time, long-term position within a supportive and caring primary school in Camden
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to EYFS and KS1 pupils, helping them develop key skills in all areas of learning
• Support the delivery of creative, play-based learning activities that engage and inspire young children
• Assist with the social and emotional development of children, promoting positive behavior and building self-confidence
• Work closely with teachers to monitor and track the progress of students, ensuring individual needs are met
• Contribute to the creation of a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in early years and primary education

Experience & Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred but not essential
• A genuine passion for working with EYFS and KS1 children and supporting their learning journey
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to supporting children’s development
• Enhanced DBS check required for all successful applicants
