Your Role as SENCO:

🔹 Lead the SEND Strategy – Oversee and enhance the school’s SEND provision, ensuring it is aligned with best practices.
🔹 Work with Teachers – Provide training, advice, and support to teachers to ensure high-quality teaching for SEND students.
🔹 Create Individual Plans – Develop and monitor Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and other tailored interventions.
🔹 Build Relationships – Collaborate with external agencies, parents, and carers to improve student outcomes.
🔹 Monitor Progress – Use data and assessments to track student progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Who We’re Looking For:

SENCO Qualification (or working towards it) – National Award for SEN Coordination is desirable.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Experience in teaching SEND students is highly preferred.
Passionate About Inclusion – A commitment to ensuring every student has access to high-quality education.
Strong Leadership Skills – The ability to lead a team and implement school-wide improvements.
Enhanced DBS Check – Or willingness to apply.
