Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Education across KS3, KS4, and KS5, fostering analytical and reflective thinking
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong academic achievement
• Encourage debate and discussion on philosophical, ethical, and contemporary moral issues
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an engaging and thought-provoking RE curriculum
• Support extracurricular activities such as philosophy clubs, faith-based discussion groups, and educational trips

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Religious Studies, Philosophy, or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching RE up to KS5
