About the Role:

  • Teach German across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially Key Stage 5.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Utilize a variety of interactive and communicative teaching methods.
  • Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development.
  • Foster a love of German language and culture in students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent.
  • Possesses excellent subject knowledge in German.
  • Demonstrates a passion for teaching Modern Foreign Languages.
  • Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
