We offer a rich and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of D&T specialisms, including product design, electronics, and textiles. We have well-equipped workshops and studios with access to the latest technologies and resources.

About the Role:

  • Teach Design & Technology, with a focus on Product Design, across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for teaching at Key Stage 5.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Guide and support students in using a range of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Encourage students to apply their knowledge of design principles.
  • Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development.
  • Foster a love of Design & Technology in students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent.
  • Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Design & Technology.
  • Demonstrates a passion for teaching D&T.
  • Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
