KS2 Teacher Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of KS2 students.
  • Implement a variety of teaching methods to ensure that all students are engaged and challenged.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages enthusiasm for learning and fosters mutual respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and maintain a high standard of teaching.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, keeping them updated on student progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities as required.

KS2 Teacher Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in KS2, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a love of learning in students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • A team-oriented approach and commitment to contributing to the wider school community.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
