We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 or KS2 Teacher for a well-rated primary school in Slough, starting in April 2025. This is a full-time position, and the school offers a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

KS1/KS2 Teacher Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of KS1 or KS2 students.
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
  • Support students in their academic and personal development, helping them grow into confident learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance curriculum delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as required.

KS1/KS2 Teacher Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods for KS1 or KS2.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
  • A team-oriented approach and commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Commitment to professional development and improving teaching practices.
