Year 1 Teacher – Permanent Position

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Kensington on a permanent basis from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a lasting impact in a supportive and high-achieving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that align with the Year 1 national curriculum.
• Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
• Monitor and track student progress, using assessments to inform teaching and provide targeted support.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
• Promote positive behaviour management and encourage a love of learning.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
• A passion for early years education, with the ability to inspire and engage young learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to collaboration.
• A creative and adaptable teaching approach that supports the individual needs of all students.
