Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that provides real-world applications of business theory and encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them build a strong understanding of business concepts and apply their learning to real-life situations.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages independent thought and creativity.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the business department.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and achievements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Business, Business Education, or a related field.
• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching business at KS4 and KS5 is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of business concepts, theory, and practice.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students to engage with business topics.
• Experience in delivering A-Level Business or vocational business qualifications is a plus.
