We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our dynamic school community in Walsall. The ideal candidate will have a passion for physical education, a commitment to promoting an active lifestyle, and a drive to help students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons to students at KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards and promotes the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Create a positive and inclusive environment where students can thrive through sports and physical activities.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development in physical education.
• Encourage active participation in extracurricular sports and fitness activities, fostering a love for physical activity beyond the classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop a strong, supportive, and progressive PE department.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and school events.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Physical Education, Sport Science, or a related field.
• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching PE at secondary school level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physical education theory and practice, with the ability to teach at KS3, KS4 and KS5 levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a lifelong passion for physical activity.
