Enthusiastic PE Teacher - Amazing School

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our vibrant academic community in Telford. The ideal candidate will have a passion for physical education, a commitment to fostering an active and engaging learning environment, and a drive to inspire students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring PE lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices, meeting national standards.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them improve their skills and achieve their goals in PE.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom and sports environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, including sports clubs, events, and school competitions, to enhance students’ PE experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental goals, and engage in professional development opportunities.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and school events.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching PE at secondary school level (KS3, KS4, KS5).
• Strong knowledge of physical education theory, practice, and sports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to participate in physical activities and appreciate the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
