Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring psychology lessons to students at KS4 and KS5.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards, encourages critical thinking, and provides real-world applications of psychological concepts.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them build a strong understanding of psychology and supporting their academic growth.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes active participation and independent thought.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental goals, and engage in professional development opportunities.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and school events.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching psychology at secondary school level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychology theory and practice, with the ability to teach at both KS4 and KS5 levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to engage with psychological topics and apply learning to real-life situations.
