Learning Support Assistant – April 2025 – Inclusive Primary in Ealing

A well-established primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team on a permanent basis starting in April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a vibrant and inclusive school community, where your role will be integral in supporting student learning and development.

The Role:

  • Supporting students across the primary school in both 1:1 and small group settings to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Working closely with the class teacher to adapt and deliver lessons, ensuring that all students have access to the curriculum and feel included in classroom activities.
  • Providing support for students with a range of learning needs, helping them build confidence and independence.
  • Assisting in the preparation of learning resources and supporting classroom management to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Monitoring students’ progress and offering feedback to the class teacher and parents when required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of child development and how to support learning across the primary age range.
  • Patient, empathetic, and proactive in helping children achieve their potential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
