A leading Independent school in Barnet is seeking a Design & Technology Teacher to join their high-achieving faculty. This full-time, permanent role starts in April 2025, providing an opportunity to teach DT up to KS5, preparing students for careers in engineering, architecture, and design.

Responsibilities

• Teach Design & Technology across KS3, KS4, and KS5, incorporating CAD, robotics, and smart materials
• Guide students through GCSE and A-Level coursework, fostering creativity and precision
• Implement real-world design challenges and industry-aligned projects
• Work collaboratively to develop and enhance the DT curriculum
• Support extracurricular activities such as robotics clubs, maker spaces, and enterprise competitions

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching DT up to KS5
