History Teacher - Private Reading School - September 2025

A well-respected secondary school is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join its thriving and dynamic Humanities department.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3-5, encouraging students to analyse the past, develop critical thinking skills, and understand how history shapes the world today.

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Be a qualified History Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
  • Have experience teaching Key Stages 3-5 (or a strong desire to teach A-Level).
  • Be passionate about bringing history to life and inspiring students to think critically about the past.
  • Create interactive, thought-provoking, and enriching lessons.
  • Be willing to contribute to extracurricular activities, including history clubs, debates, and educational trips.
