A leading Independent school in Brent is seeking a Design & Technology Teacher to join their successful faculty. This part-time, permanent role starts in April 2025, providing an opportunity to teach DT up to KS5, nurturing students' creativity and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach DT across KS3, KS4, and KS5, incorporating engineering, product design, and sustainable materials
• Guide students through GCSE and A-Level coursework, developing their technical skills
• Implement innovative teaching methods, integrating digital fabrication and smart technologies
• Work collaboratively to develop and enhance the DT curriculum
• Support extracurricular activities such as tech clubs, invention challenges, and enterprise programmes

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching DT up to KS5
