Inspire a love of movement and dance! We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join our dynamic and successful PE department in a sports-focused academy in West London. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in April 2025.

About the PE Department:

We offer a diverse and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of sports and physical activities. We have excellent facilities, including a dance studio, sports hall, and extensive playing fields.
About the Role:
- Teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Choreograph and teach dance routines in a variety of styles.
- Lead extracurricular dance clubs and activities.
- Organize and participate in school sports competitions and dance performances.
- Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
- Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our PE curriculum remains relevant and challenging.
- Foster a love of Physical Education in students, encouraging them to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in PE education.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or equivalent.
- Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Physical Education with a specialism in Dance.
- Demonstrates a passion for teaching PE and a commitment to student success.
- Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for PE.
- Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
