A specialist SEN school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team from April 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing and structured environment.

Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a well-respected SEN school in Harrow
• Teach and support students with a variety of needs, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges
• Develop and deliver individualised lessons that are engaging, accessible, and tailored to each student’s needs
• Work closely with SEN specialists, therapists, and support staff to provide a holistic learning experience
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure the best outcomes for all learners
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching students with SEN, ideally within a specialist setting
• Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS check required
