Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a well-regarded SEN school in Lambeth
• Teach a KS3 class of students with a range of special educational needs (including autism, learning difficulties, and SEMH)
• Develop and deliver an individualized curriculum that caters to the diverse needs and abilities of students
• Use a variety of engaging teaching strategies to support learning and encourage progress
• Foster an inclusive learning environment, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting lessons and interventions as needed
• Work collaboratively with SEN support staff, therapists, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each student
• Provide regular feedback to parents and carers, ensuring open communication about student development

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching KS3 students in a special educational needs setting, or experience working with SEN students
• Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and experience in differentiating the curriculum to meet individual needs
• A patient, creative, and flexible approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS check required
