A vibrant and creative secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a passionate and dynamic Drama Teacher to join their successful Performing Arts department. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a thriving arts culture within the school. The successful Drama Teacher is integral to our school.

YOU WILL:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable, but not essential).
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback (both written and practical).
• Maintain accurate student records.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Performing Arts department.
• Contribute to extra-curricular Drama activities (productions, clubs, etc.).
• Direct and/or support school performances.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance.

YOU ARE:

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
• Experienced in teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Passionate about Drama and theatre.
• An excellent classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
• Committed to raising student achievement and fostering creativity and confidence.
• A collaborative team player.
• Dedicated to your own professional development.
