This Art Teacher position, compensated on the MPS/UPS scale, involves:

• Delivering dynamic and engaging Art lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
• Teaching a diverse range of artistic disciplines, which may include painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and digital art.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to experiment and express themselves.
• Developing students' technical skills, critical thinking, and understanding of art history and contemporary art practices.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
• Teaching in an Outstanding school.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified Art Teacher with QTS.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for art and a breadth of artistic skills.
• Proven experience teaching Art at the secondary level.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
