This role focuses on treating musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions , helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and return to optimal function. Facility Information Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital (Outpatient Department) Department: Sports Medicine Setting: 100% Outpatient Work Environment: Clean, well-equipped rehab setting Clinical Responsibilities Patient Care Evaluate and treat patients with: Musculoskeletal injuries Sports-related conditions Neuromuscular disorders Cardiorespiratory limitations Develop and implement personalized treatment plans Therapy Interventions Provide: Therapeutic exercises Manual therapy Mobility and strengthening programs Pain management interventions Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on progress Clinical Skills Orthopedic rehabilitation Sports injury management Functional movement training Return-to-activity protocols Documentation Maintain accurate patient records Track progress and treatment outcomes Ensure compliance with clinical standards Collaboration Work closely with: Physicians Rehab team Patients and families Scheduling & Work Details Shift: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM No weekends No on-call Stable outpatient schedule Required Qualifications Active New Mexico PT License BLS Certification Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT/MPT/BPT) Preferred Qualifications Outpatient / sports medicine experience Strong orthopedic background Excellent communication skills Important Notes 100% outpatient role Backfill position (urgent hiring) New grads may be considered (depending on strength) Why Consider This Assignment High weekly pay No weekends / no call Outpatient-only (less stress vs acute care) Sports medicine exposure Great location (Santa Fe ) Ideal Candidate Profile PT with: Outpatient or orthopedic experience Interest in sports rehab Strong patient interaction skills SCREENING CHECK – PT Must Have NM PT License BLS Preferred Outpatient experience Sports medicine / ortho background
