Power BI Expert (NM - 11062024 - PTPBE)

Position: Power BI Expert Number of hours: 20 hours/week Schedule: CET Tasks required: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for various departments. Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and reporting requirements. Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for accurate analysis. Create and implement data models within Power BI to streamline reporting processes. Analyze and interpret data trends, offering actionable insights. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues in Power BI and data sources. Automate regular reporting tasks and maintain documentation on processes. Ensure data accuracy, quality, and security in all reports. Provide training and support to internal users on Power BI usage and best practices. Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned Requirements : Must have 3-4 years experience as a Power BI expert or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past work. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report development. Knowledge of additional BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, or Google Data Studio. Understanding of business processes in finance, sales, or operations. Basic knowledge of SQL and data engineering principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and database design. Experience with connecting Power BI to various data sources (e.g., SQL, Excel, SharePoint). Excellent communication skills for explaining data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines independently. Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom).
