Senior Cost Accountant

Senior Cost Accountant Mandaluyong | On-site | Monday to Friday Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Cost Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in costing, preferably within the Food & Beverage (F&B) or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. This role will be responsible for analyzing costs, improving financial efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis Analyze production costs, material usage, and operational efficiencies Prepare and review cost reports, budgets, and forecasts Monitor and control cost structures to ensure profitability targets are met Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to optimize cost performance Ensure accurate recording of cost data in compliance with accounting standards Support month-end and year-end closing processes Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cost accounting Proven experience in F&B or FMCG industry is required Strong background in costing, inventory management, and financial analysis Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
