Corporate Lawyer (DS - 05102022 - PTCL)

Position: Corporate Lawyer Number of hours: 15-20 hours/week Time Zone: Singapore, flexible hours Task Required: Prepare the appropriate legal documents for borrowers, shareholders, and management. Evaluate new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors. Covering NDAs, commercial contracts, and review of regulatory frameworks. Represent the company as Chief Legal Counsel. Design and oversee the company’s policy and position on legal matters. Protect the company against legal risks and violations. Examine the legal issues related to new products, services, and jurisdictions. Negotiate deals on behalf of the company. Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations. Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned Requirements: Ideally from University of the Philippines or other top tier law school 7+ PQE - Post-Qualified Experience Asia/multijurisdictional experience (has covered corporate finance and loan agreements across multiple countries) Banking, Finance, Loan Documentation experience is a must. Experience from both a law firm and bank/credit fund Experience in FinTech start up or Financial Technology company is a plus Understanding of MAS Funds Management regulations is a plus Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail. Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
