Senior Account Manager (Technical Sales) — Bay Area (Remote to Hybrid) Electromechanical / Mechatronic Systems | AI Infrastructure | Data Centers | Semiconductors | EV I'm hiring a seasoned Senior Account Manager with a proven track record in technical sales to join our team in the Bay Area . This role is built for someone who can operate as a consultative partner to demanding customers, manage complex programs end-to-end, and drive growth in fast-moving, innovation-led markets. You'll be selling electromechanical / mechatronic systems into emerging, high-growth segments including AI infrastructure, data centers, semiconductors, power electronics, advanced electrical materials, and EV . Compensation, location, travel Base salary: $150K–$170K Bonus: 40% bonus opportunity Location: Bay Area . Remote until an office is secured , then hybrid . Travel: 15–20% Target accounts This role will focus on strategic, high-visibility customers, including: Tesla Apple GM Ford What you'll own You'll take point on strategic accounts and drive revenue growth across enterprise and mid-market customers. Key responsibilities include: Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue across key customers Build and manage a healthy pipeline through targeted prospecting, account planning, and stakeholder mapping Own the full sales cycle: qualification solution alignment negotiation close Act as a trusted advisor, translating technical requirements into clear business value Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, product management, marketing, operations, QA, and customer service Coordinate technical requirements related to thermal management, magnetic materials, electrical materials, semiconductor-adjacent components, and power electronics Serve as liaison between customer and vendors/suppliers/factories across the product lifecycle for issues tied to: Pricing Quality Design Cost Delivery Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities Provide accurate forecasts and maintain CRM data integrity Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings Use judgment and initiative to solve sales, customer service, and marketing challenges Assist with customer issue escalation and resolution Must-haves (non-negotiable) To be successful here, you must bring: Sales + technical experience (you can sell complex systems and speak the language of engineering) Semiconductor sales background Experience selling into one or more of the following: Data centers AI infrastructure EV What I'm looking for 5–10+ years of experience in technical or enterprise sales (hardware preferred) Proven success managing large, complex accounts and multimillion-dollar deals Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills Technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex solutions into clear business value Strong people skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams Cross-cultural communication skills and comfort working across global teams Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required Master's degree preferred
