Front End Engineer

Front End Engineer Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite, 5–6 days/week) Role Overview Front End Engineer owning the full product surface of an AI memory platform powering LLM applications. This is a high-ownership, early engineering role working directly with founders to build scalable, high-performance user-facing systems. Responsibilities Ship end-to-end features across frontend and backend including API design, UI development, and deployment Build and optimize high-performance web applications using Next.js, React, and Python Design component architecture, manage state, and ensure accessibility and performance across the product Own data models, backend logic, and system integrations supporting frontend functionality Implement SSR, ISR, and real-time features for responsive and scalable user experiences Write tests, enforce type safety, and maintain high code quality standards Operate production systems including monitoring, debugging, and performance optimization Collaborate with design, research, and customers to deliver polished, user-centric product experiences Requirements 5–8 years of software engineering experience Strong experience with Next.js, React, and Python Experience building and scaling production web applications Strong frontend depth including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization Experience with REST or GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and queue systems Track record of owning features end-to-end from design through post-launch iteration Ability to work onsite in San Francisco
