Accounting Associate (IFRS/PFRS)

ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE (IFRS/PFRS) MAKATI CITY | ON-SITE | MONDAY TO FRIDAY Job Summary: We are urgently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accounting Associate with strong experience in IFRS/PFRS and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) . The ideal candidate will support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis to help drive informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with IFRS/PFRS Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis (FP&A) Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights Handle general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings Support month-end and year-end closing activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting standards Assist with audits and maintain proper documentation Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field CPA is an advantage but not required Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience , including Financial Planning & Analysis Strong knowledge of IFRS/PFRS standards Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
