Warehouse Officer

About the Role: The Warehouse Officer will oversee the efficient management of warehouse operations for pipeline coating materials and equipment. This role includes supervising material handling, stock control, and coordinating shipments with a strong understanding of import/export processes to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment. Loading and unloading of equipment to/from job sites. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels; perform periodic stock audits. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with company procedures and timelines. Prepare and verify import/export documentation, customs clearance, and shipping paperwork. Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain warehouse safety standards and ensure compliance with HSE policies. Organize warehouse layout for optimal storage and easy accessibility of materials. Assist procurement and project teams by ensuring material availability for ongoing projects. Handle shipment discrepancies, damages, or claims efficiently. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in construction, industrial, or coating materials. Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and shipping documentation. Must know how to drive a forklift. Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
