Senior QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview: We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to support the quality assurance processes within a fintech environment, contributing to the development and reliability of digital financial solutions. Project/Client: Fintech Location: EU (priority for candidates from Lithuania) Start Date: ASAP Language: English Rate - 32-38 eur/hour (depends on the seniority) B2B cooperation Key Responsibilities: Design and execute test cases covering functional testing , regression testing , integration testing , and performance testing Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently Analyze test failures and production incidents to identify root causes Evaluate test coverage , assess quality risks, and propose improvements to QA processes Maintain clear and structured test documentation Support code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers within the team Must-Have Requirements: 3+ years of experience in QA and test automation Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field Proven experience with Open Banking projects and/or PISP (Payment Initiation Service Provider) systems Strong experience with QA methodologies , test design , and defect analysis Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and integration with CI/CD Experience working in Agile development environments Strong analytical , problem-solving , and communication skills High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership regarding software quality
