Sales Engineer (Marine)

Responsibilities: Visit existing customers, develop new customer base with marine and offshore industries. Sell diesel engine spare parts. Secure enquiries /orders to meet the sales targets. Review quotations, tenders and cost estimates. Strategize to ensure bids/enquiries are comprehensively estimated/quoted and submitted as per clients tender/enquiry requirements. Identify, assess and manage risks relating to the contracts/orders. Deal with diesel engine makers, OEM manufacturer and suppliers, principals, second hand engine parts markets and evaluation of its prices. Perform price comparison to achieve the most competitive prices. Handle projected principal sales. Maintain a high standard level of customer services and good customer relation. Responsible for maximizing the profit margin and meeting sales targets. Be updated on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments. Take responsibility in the customer / sales team environment for discussions on technical solutions proposed by Company in a manner that gains credibility with its clients. Any other tasks as and when assigned by superior. Requirements: At least Diploma in Engineering Fre At least 2 years working experience in Marine or Offshore / Oil & Gas Industry Good product and market knowledge Good selling / marketing skills Willing to travel overseas when required Competent in Microsoft Office
