Footwear Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Footwear Designer to lead the design and development of men's footwear collections. The role requires strong expertise in CAD design, trend forecasting, and end-to-end product development within a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop innovative men's footwear collections aligned with brand identity and seasonal trends Create detailed CAD sketches and technical drawings for product development Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging styles, materials, and colors Collaborate closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and timely delivery Develop mood boards, concepts, and color palettes for each season Select and source appropriate materials, trims, and components Work with vendors and manufacturers to ensure design accuracy and quality standards Oversee product lifecycle from concept to final production Ensure all designs meet commercial viability, cost targets, and brand positioning Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, or related field 3–6 years of experience in footwear design, preferably within a retail or apparel brand Strong proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) Solid understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes Strong sense of fashion trends, color theory, and consumer preferences Experience in men's footwear (casual, formal, sports, or lifestyle categories) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
