Position: Telephone Operator Type: Independent Contractor Compensation: $40–$70/hour Location: US, UK, or Canada Duration: 3–4 weeks Commitment: 15+ hours/week Role Responsibilities Design questions and assist in training AI models related to telephone operations. Operate telephone switchboards and systems for various call types, including local and emergency calls. Update directory information and perform clerical duties such as typing and proofreading. Monitor automated systems for collect calls and provide assistance for special billing requests. Provide relay service for users who are deaf or hard of hearing and promote company products when appropriate. Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Must-Have 4+ years full-time work experience as a Telephone Operator. Be based in the US, UK, or Canada . Strong writing skills and comfort with various computer applications and platforms .
