Backend Developer / Engineer III (Java | GCP | Data Systems)

🚀 About the Role We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer / Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team working on large-scale, complex systems . In this role, you’ll be involved in designing solutions and delivering end-to-end backend capabilities , contributing to systems that operate at significant scale and performance. 💼 Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable backend solutions Own end-to-end development of services within the team Work with high-scale distributed systems and data pipelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions Drive technical discussions, deep dives, and solution workshops Contribute to continuous improvements in system performance and reliability ✅ Requirements Strong experience with Java backend development Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, BigTable, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience working with data systems and pipelines (e.g., Scio, Flight or similar) Solid understanding of scalable system design Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make fast, effective decisions Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders ⭐ Nice to Have Experience in e-commerce or financial engineering domains Experience working in high-scale tech environments Prior experience at Spotify is a strong plus 🤝 What We’re Looking For Self-driven and proactive mindset Strong team player who values collaboration and feedback Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments Passion for building reliable, scalable systems 📩 Interested?
