Position Overview RecruitGo seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial management and compliance for our clients, particularly those based in Australia. Responsibilities Ensure accurate financial data entry, reconciliations, and payroll review Assist in reviewing business and instalment activity statements Prepare and review monthly payroll tax reconciliations Prepare monthly management reporting and reconciliations Provide support and guidance to junior team members Support onboarding and training of new hires Ensure adherence to internal processes and client requirements Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, including payroll (Australian client experience preferred) At least 1–2 years in an intermediate bookkeeper role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA qualification is a plus. Strong understanding of Xero and Microsoft Office tools Knowledge of Australian payroll compliance requirements Excellent attention to detail and time management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with Xero Ecosystem apps including Dext, Deputy, and Lightspeed Why RecruitGo?
