MC Engineer

Location: Bergen (NO) Language: Norwegian and English Workload: Full-time (Rotation may apply – 14/21, 2 weeks on-site / 3 weeks off) Assignment Description Be part of a dynamic oil & gas project in Bergen, contributing to the mechanical completion and commissioning phases of critical systems. This role sits at the heart of project execution, ensuring equipment and systems are ready, verified, and handed over in line with project requirements. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maintain progress, quality, and seamless coordination across engineering, construction, and commissioning activities. Job Responsibilities Perform and follow up on completion checks Maintain and update project completion systems Monitor mechanical completion activities on-site Coordinate punch inspections with client representatives Collaborate with construction, commissioning, and engineering teams Support system handover and RFCC processes Ensure progress aligns with project timelines Requirements Relevant experience within the oil & gas industry Solid understanding of mechanical completion and commissioning processes Experience working on-site or offshore environments Strong attention to detail and structured working approach Good coordination and communication skills across teams Ability to manage tasks proactively and meet deadlines Fluent in Norwegian and English About Sperton Sperton Norway is a consulting firm with offices across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
