ROLE DETAILS Job Title: Agile Business Analyst (Ref: 7X44YX33) Job Type: Full-time, Remote Schedule: 8 hours/day Project Language: English Methodology: Agile / Scrum MISSION The Agile Business Analyst supports the Product Owner in managing and refining the product backlog, ensuring that business requirements are clearly translated into actionable deliverables for the development team. The role involves contributing to backlog clarity, writing and validating User Stories, and maintaining alignment between stakeholders and the development team. The Agile Business Analyst supports prioritization and delivery but does not replace the Product Owner, who remains the sole decision-maker. ACTIVITIES & TASKS Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and structure business requirements Support the Product Owner in backlog management and prioritization based on business value Write and refine User Stories with clear acceptance criteria Provide clarifications to the development team throughout the sprint lifecycle Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives Ensure alignment between business expectations and delivered solutions Support functional testing, including User Story validation and regression checks Maintain clear, structured, and up-to-date documentation Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and product quality Communicate effectively with international stakeholders in English SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Experience working as a Business Analyst in Agile environments (Scrum preferred), with at least 3 years of relevant experience Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories Experience working with tools such as Jira and Confluence Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Good stakeholder management and communication skills Attention to detail and structured way of working Data IKU Business Analysis certification is considered an advantage, or willingness to complete it before starting Experience working in international or distributed teams is a plus
