We are a national building technologies and security integration firm delivering enterprise-grade solutions across commercial, government, and industrial environments. Our teams operate across access control, surveillance, fleet safety, and compliance functions — supporting both field operations and corporate infrastructure. We are looking for a detail-oriented Security Coordinator to join our Safety & Operations team in Phoenix. Position Overview The Security Coordinator plays a critical support role across fleet safety management, badge and access control, auto allowance administration, and job site clearance coordination. This is an operational, compliance-focused role that requires strong organizational skills, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The right candidate is process-driven, communicates well across departments, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Fleet Safety & GPS Management Monitor GPS tracking systems, dash cameras, and telematics platforms for compliance and functionality Identify vehicles with abnormal or inactive movement and coordinate follow-up with field managers Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to vehicle tracking and safety equipment Maintain fleet incident and accident logs and coordinate post-incident documentation requirements Review telematics alerts — speeding, harsh braking, seatbelt use — and escalate trends to management Manage onboarding/offboarding of company vehicles and associated safety equipment Keep records current for registrations, inspections, emissions, and vehicle certifications Coordinate installation and removal of GPS units, dash cameras, and safety equipment Support monthly fleet safety dashboards and KPI reporting Auto Allowance Program Administration Track and verify insurance documentation for all associates in the auto allowance program Maintain accurate records of coverage, renewal dates, and compliance status Notify associates and managers of missing, expired, or insufficient documentation Support audits and compliance reviews tied to the auto allowance program Badge & Access Control Process badge activations, deactivations, and access level changes for new hires, transfers, and terminations Maintain accurate badge records aligned with security protocols and role-based access requirements Assist associates with lost, damaged, or replacement badges and resolve access issues Conduct periodic audits of access control systems to ensure accuracy and remove outdated permissions Monitor alerts from access control, intrusion detection, and camera systems Support vendor access management at branch locations Job Site Security & Clearance Management Assist with job site clearance processing for associates requiring access to secure or regulated locations Coordinate background checks, training requirements, and site-specific documentation Track clearance status, renewal dates, and approval workflows Maintain a centralized database of all job site clearance requirements by customer or site Track expirations for background checks, drug screens, safety training, and site-specific credentials Communicate with project managers, site contacts, and associates to ensure all access requirements are met before mobilization Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in administrative support within safety, fleet, facilities, security, or compliance-related environments Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn new platforms quickly Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Solid written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization Experience with record-keeping, data entry, or vendor coordination High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in safety, security, or compliance is a plus Preferred Experience: Exposure to access control systems, telematics platforms, or safety management software Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, or fleet compliance standards Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate $21 - $25/hr Benefits package includes medical and sick time accrual. Weekly pay.
