Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Role & Key Responsibilities: As a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of site machinery and services. Working as part of a 24/7 engineering team, you will support maintenance, maximise equipment uptime, and contribute to continuous improvement across operations. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned maintenance, plant modifications, and small engineering projects Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns Maximise machine availability and operational efficiency Always maintain high health & safety standards Support continuous improvement and TPM initiatives The Ideal Candidate will have: Mechanical and electrical engineering skills (multi-skilled) Experience working with PLCs and process control systems Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines A proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally food production) Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies Experience with TPM practices Background in fast-paced production environments Benefits Include: Competitive salary (reviewed annually) Company profit-based bonus 5% pension contribution Health cash plan with reward scheme 24/7 employee support line Life assurance Flexible working arrangements On-site parking If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please get in touch with us or apply below.
