Structural Engineer (Building Systems) Location: Saint Paul, MN (Twin Cities Metro) Work Mode: In-Person / On-site The Opportunity Are you a motivated Structural Engineer looking to take the next step in a high-growth, service-minded environment? Key Responsibilities Design & Analysis: Perform complex structural analysis and design for buildings using a variety of materials including concrete, steel, and timber. Project Coordination: Oversee project milestones, manage budgets and timelines, and lead internal and external coordination meetings. Documentation & QA: Prepare and review accurate calculations, project specifications, and structural drawings while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards. Construction Support: Evaluate special inspection reports, review shop drawings, and provide field support to resolve issues and prevent project delays. Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior engineers and BIM modelers, ensuring legacy knowledge transfer and team growth. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Experience: 3+ years of experience in structural analysis and building design. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with industry-standard software (e.g., RISA, RAM, ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD). Codes & Standards: Strong working knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC codes. Licensure: EIT certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented approach to problem-solving.
