We are looking for an experienced Lead PRV & PSV Engineer to join our permanently embedded onsite team as the senior technical authority for our valve integrity programme. About the role You will plan and lead the delivery of all PRV and PSV maintenance, inspection, bench testing, and recertification activities in compliance with API 526, API 527, ASME NB-23, and NFPA 59A. As MGE's primary technical point of contact onsite, you will drive quality, safety, and programme performance — every day. This is a permanent embedded role, not a project rotation. What you'll be doing Lead the full Six-Stage PRV/PSV Maintenance Protocol — disassembly, inspection, precision lapping (Ra 0.4 µm), cryogenic seal replacement, and reassembly to OEM specifications Perform set pressure bench testing (3 consecutive pops ±3% CDTP) per API 526, and API 527 seat tightness testing — issuing formal Test Certificates with full traceability Develop and maintain the rolling risk-based maintenance schedule per API 580 and API 576 Lead all Toolbox Meetings, JSA reviews, and pre-job safety briefings for the team Prepare and deliver monthly KPI dashboards to MGE Contract Director and client Operations leadership Update the digital Valve Register and CMMS within 24 hours of every maintenance event Coordinate with client Operations for valve isolation, LOTO, and Permit to Work scheduling Deliver minimum two technical training workshops per year to client maintenance and operations staff What we're looking for BEng/BSc Mechanical Engineering or equivalent — HND with extensive field experience considered Minimum 10 years in PRV/PSV maintenance, inspection, and testing in LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical environments Demonstrated hands-on experience with cryogenic-service PRVs and PSVs at temperatures to 196C Deep working knowledge of API 520, 521, 526, 527, 576, 580 · ASME Section VIII · ASME NB-23 · NFPA 59A Strong CMMS proficiency — SAP PM, Maximo, or equivalent Clear communicator with meticulous documentation discipline Certifications API 510 — RequiredAPI 576ASME NB-23NEBOSH IGCISO 45001BOSIET / HUET What we offer Competitive salary package benchmarked to LNG industry standards Structured Temp-to-Perm pathway based on performance and experience ISO 45001 certified safety culture — Zero LTI programme — Stop Work Authority unconditional Named permanent role — you are assigned to a specific programme, not rotated between projects Send your CV / Résumé to jobs@macdillionsge.com macdillionsge.com/jobs/ Please quote: Lead PRV & PSV Engineer — Ref MGE-JD-001-2026Apply now
