Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Home Health Greenbelt, Maryland (Suburban Coverage Area) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (March 24, 2026 – June 23, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,112.00 Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 40 Hours Guaranteed Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a home health assignment in Greenbelt, MD. This is a field-based role where the Physical Therapist will deliver in-home rehabilitation services across multiple counties. The role focuses on improving mobility, restoring independence, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through individualized treatment plans. The therapist will work independently while coordinating with interdisciplinary care teams. Facility Information Facility Type: Home Health Agency Work Setting: Field-based (patient homes) Charting System: HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) Service Coverage Area Therapists will cover assigned zip codes across: Montgomery County Prince George's County Charles County St. Mary's County Clinical Coverage Areas Therapists will provide care for: Adult and geriatric patients Post-surgical recovery Chronic conditions (COPD, CHF, etc.) Orthopedic and mobility impairments Functional independence and safety training Key Responsibilities Perform in-home patient evaluations and functional assessments Develop individualized treatment plans Deliver therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility interventions Complete OASIS documentation accurately and timely Manage daily patient caseload efficiently Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate and compliant documentation Travel between assigned patient locations Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Home Health experience Active Maryland Physical Therapist License BLS Certification OASIS & HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) experience required Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle Preferred Qualifications Previous travel experience Experience managing independent caseloads Strong time management and communication skills Scheduling & Assignment Details 40 hours guaranteed per week Monday – Friday schedule Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM No weekend or on-call requirements May float between zip codes within assigned counties Important Notes Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate Mileage reimbursement: $0.58/mile (first to last patient visit) Reliable transportation required RTO Policy: No RTO within first 2 weeks Maximum 7 days total Must be submitted at time of application Candidates must be comfortable with potential no-interview process Compliance Requirements Candidates must complete all onboarding and compliance requirements including: Active state licensure verification BLS certification Two supervisor references Skills checklist and clinical review Pre-start modules (billable up to 4 hours) Labs and drug screening within 48 hours of contract signing Why Consider This Assignment High-paying home health contract ($3K/week) Stable weekday schedule Mileage reimbursement provided Strong MedStar network support High-demand OASIS & HCHB experience Diverse patient population across multiple counties
