Packaging Supervisor - 2nd shift

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee packaging operations and ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality across all processes. This role involves leading a team, managing inventory, and coordinating with cross-functional departments to maintain smooth production and distribution workflows. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of driving team performance in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily packaging operations to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule Lead, supervise, and motivate packaging staff to meet productivity and performance targets Manage inventory levels, ensuring proper control to prevent shortages, overstock, or discrepancies Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet established standards Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency Train and develop team members to improve skills, performance, and overall productivity Monitor equipment and facility conditions to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly to minimize disruptions and downtime Key Requirements Proven experience in packaging operations and inventory management Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate staff Excellent problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Desirable Skills Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly preferred Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices Certification in inventory management or a related field is a plus
