German-speaking Senior Business Travel Consultant – Remote (Portugal) Introduction A leading global travel management company is recruiting German-speaking Senior Business Travel Consultants to join their virtual team in Portugal . In this role, you will provide high-touch, premium support to corporate travelers from major international organizations. You will be responsible for managing complex travel itineraries and ensuring a seamless, end-to-end booking experience while adhering to corporate travel policies. Your Role Travel Management: Handle complex, multi-segment travel bookings including international flights, rail, hotel accommodations, and car rentals. Consultative Service: Provide expert advice on travel regulations, visa requirements, and optimal routing to enhance the traveler experience. Technical Support: Assist corporate clients with navigating self-service travel platforms and mobile apps. Problem Resolution: Efficiently manage re-bookings, cancellations, and disruptions, providing calm and effective solutions during travel emergencies. Compliance: Ensure all bookings strictly adhere to the specific travel policies of the client company and global industry standards. SLA Management: Deliver timely and accurate responses in line with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Your Qualifications Languages: Native or near-native proficiency in German (C1/C2) and a strong command of English (B2/C1). Experience: Significant experience in the travel industry, specifically in corporate/business travel or as a GDS-trained travel agent. Systems: Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is essential. Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex itineraries simultaneously. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Eligibility: Must be based in Portugal and hold EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work permit. The Offer Location: Fully remote (Work From Home) within Portugal.
