Plant Engineer

Overview The Plant Engineer oversees facility and equipment operations to ensure a safe workplace, reliable production performance, and full OSHA compliance. This role leads maintenance activities, facility systems, and continuous improvement efforts across the plant. Responsibilities Lead machine installations, equipment upgrades, and major repair projects. Oversee building improvements, facility repairs, and infrastructure updates. Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime through continuous improvement. Supervise the Maintenance Department and ensure timely, effective repairs. Manage and strengthen the preventative maintenance (PM) program. Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions. Partner with the Safety Team on plant‑wide safety initiatives. Maintain required safety documentation and compliance activities. Ensure all operations meet OSHA and internal safety standards. Support manufacturing areas (assembly, welding, stamping, robotics, pneumatics, electronics, laser cutting). Support facility systems (HVAC, air compressors, lighting, racking, sewer, roofing, environmental systems). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Associate degree in a technical field (preferred) 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Acrobat Reader (preferred) Experience with Kronos and/or Epicor (preferred) Physical Requirements Combination of sedentary work and extensive walking throughout the facility.
