The Role Teach a Year 1 / 2 class within the Junior School Deliver well-planned, engaging and creative lessons that inspire and challenge pupils Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment Contribute to the wider life of the school and its continued development Key Responsibilities & Expectations Teach up to 20 lessons per week within a 30-period timetable Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents Support the academic and personal development of all students Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and student welfare Requirements Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience Experience with international curricula (VCE, CAIE, IB, IEB or similar) A recognised teaching qualification (Teaching Degree or Degree with PGCE) Outstanding English language proficiency Strong understanding of inquiry-based teaching approaches Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to a new environment with cultural sensitivity Desirable Experience with student management systems (iSAMS, SIMS, etc.) Google Educator Level 1 certification Additional Information Average class size: approximately 15 students A clear enhanced DBS and/or police check is required This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic teacher to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
