This position supports acute care patients throughout the hospital , treating a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses , including ICU, neurological, and orthopedic cases. Requirements Active Georgia OT License BLS Certification (AHA) Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required Experience treating: ICU patients Stroke and neurological cases Orthopedic conditions General medical/surgical patients Cerner (OneChart) EMR experience preferred Assignment Details Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (may vary slightly) Hours: 40 hours per week Duration: 13 weeks Setting: Acute Care Hospital Start Date: 04/06/2026 Facility Overview Large hospital-based acute care therapy department Supports patients across multiple units Patient populations include: ICU Neurology (stroke patients) Orthopedics General medical/surgical cases EMR System: Cerner OneChart Collaborative interdisciplinary care team Important Notes No local candidates within 50-mile radius Must have minimum 2 years of specialty experience Strong acute care skills required Floating across hospital units may be required
